Dean Howard

Owner & Instructor

Dean Howard is the owner of J K Martial Arts and has been involved in Martial Arts for over 15 years. Starting out with Freestyle Karate and Kickboxing to then learning Wado Ryu Karate freestyle Karate under Liam Gratty- original founder of J K Martial Arts. After becoming the first student to achieve a 1st dan black belt under Liam, he then progressed his knowledge onto others becoming owner and instructor at J K Martial Arts.

Liam Gratty

Instructor

Liam Gratty is the original founder of J K Martial Arts and an instructor at the club. He has been involved in Martial Arts for over 25 years starting with Wado Freestyle Karate & Kickboxing to then later progressing in numerous styles of Karate including Budokan, Bushi Karate-jutsu etc. Since taking a step down as owner he purely focuses on instructing and enjoys continuing his progress in other Martial Arts such as Bushi Kempo Jujitsu and Aikido.
